Bethany House has welcomed various groups of young, and not so young, people for weekends or longer stays since 1989. They came from the local sector, deanery, diocese, region and even from as far as Paris.  It was a place of renewal, rest, and relaxation: profession of faith or confirmation retreats, prayer or Bible study groups, Scouts, … etc …  One summer, the “Claire Amitié” Association from Ourcq Street in Paris organized a one week “take a break in the country” for young girls from difficult social and family situations.  Many families gathered with their jubilarian sisters for festive meals.  Several groups of disabled youth from the “Open hands” Association in Rennes and Nantes really appreciated a building with ground level access, a wooded park, and being able to participate in Sunday mass with the sisters.  Memories, memories!…
